The chassis is the structural base of the robot where all components, including Arduino, sensors, motors, and battery, are mounted. A good chassis provides stability, balance, and ease of assembly. For beginner robots, acrylic or plastic chassis is commonly used due to its lightweight nature, while metal chassis can provide higher durability. In the Line Following Robot, the chassis design allows proper placement of sensors in the front and motors on the sides. A well-designed chassis ensures correct alignment of all parts, smooth movement, and protection of electronic components from vibration and accidental damage.
